Helen Turton

Helen Turton runs our office in the UK, and has more experience than most women (and men), having guided for 20 years and more than 150 trips and expeditions abroad. She has experience from Africa's west coast to the North Pole sea ice, and Antarctica's endless snowy plateau and extreme conditions. ‘I simply love to teach and share everything I have learnt through many years of guiding and expeditions - encouraging and empowering people to enjoy, understand and respect the amazing life-changing opportunities and experiences that expeditions can offer. Svante Haaland

Svante Haaland is the manager and expedition leader of Newland Expeditions. As a former Special Forces soldier and with 20 years of guiding, he will take good care of you. Svante has also worked as a Fire Fighter and events manager, and has a degree from Trondheim University. He excels when it comes to complex logistics. I am passionate about creating good teams and good experiences for our customers. In the special forces, we always talked about taking good care of yourself, your team and doing the mission in the best possible way. Welcome to our Newland Family.
